  4. A real quality control process. Ask how they inspect goods — AQL sampling, pre-shipment inspection, photos and reports. If they can't describe their QC process, they don't have one.
  5. Relevant industry experience. An agent who's sourced automotive parts knows different factories than one who's sourced apparel. Ask for examples in your product category.
  6. References or case studies. A real agent can show past projects — what they sourced, for whom, and the result. No track record is a warning sign.
  7. Clear communication. They respond in clear English, explain what's happening at each step, and don't pressure you to decide fast.
